UNIT REFLECTION

One thing that I think I learned from this unit is that you should never be overly ambitious. We were very ambitious in the project, including many features and games in the overall game and I think that was one of the main reasons why our game failed our success criteria. We had around a month to create our game, but when planning the game, our designed game would have probably taken a bit more time than just a month. We came up with multiple features and mini-games that were much harder to code. Next time, we will plan something that we can do in the span of a month and with the knowledge we have about coding. Another skill that we could have worked on is teamwork. I think, the lack of talking to each other and seeing where we were at, could have been the reason why both of us were at very different stages when creating our parts of the game. It wasn't until later, that my partner created her game in Tkinter, and I think that was both of our faults because I should have been checking on her properly and she should have been checking on me properly since I ended up creating my part of the games much easier than I was expecting. If we had communicated more to see what we needed help with and where we were at, I think the creation process of the product would have gone much more smoothly. I think if we did that, then we might've created a finished product with all our features added to it. Overall, however, I am glad though, that we were able to pull it off, despite how much we planned for. We were still able to create a game that the audience enjoyed, and we had fun making it as well.
